1.) Lessons:
71:12 - Do not be far from me, my God
73:22 - I was senseless and ignorant; I was a brute beast before you.
73:26 - My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
2.) Applications:
- In the past I was senseless and ignorant. My sin consumed me, but because of the Lords great goodness and mercy I have been given a second chance and have been forgiven of all my past sins.
- My flesh and my heart will fail me, but God is my everlasting strength and will be with me and at my side forever.
- Do not envy the wicked, for they will seem to prosper here on earth but everyone will be held accountable for their actions on the day of judgement.
