Notes:
Good session today. A lot of personal stress going on in my life so it is nice to get outside and get a good workout in. Front squats are slowly starting to feel more comfortable. I am focusing on going deep and opening my hips and knees. Wrist flexibility is slowly improving as well. On a side note, I have learned that when life gets stressful, I must not neglect my workouts. Find a way to fit them in. I may not be able to control much of what is going on in my life, but I can always control my discipline and effort that goes into my workouts.
Daily Reading:
Deuteronomy 1-4
1.) Lessons:
- Leadership became too heavy of a burden for Moses to bear on his own.
- Do not fear any man, for judgement belongs to the Lord.
- The Lord will carry us as a Father carries a son.
- The Lord led and went before His people.
- Listen to God's commandments and put them into practice so that you may live.
- Watch yourself closely so that you do not forget what the Lord has done for you.
- Do not make for yourself an idol.
- The Lord is the God of heaven above and the earth beneath.
2.) Applications:
- As nations, churches, schools, etc grow, they become complex and no longer can 1 leader effectively make decisions. Leadership must be shared at a certain point.
- Do not fear what man fears.
- THE LORD WILL CARRY ME LIKE A FATHER CARRYS HIS SON. (POWERFUL IMAGE)
- Let the Lord go ahead of us and lead us.
- Not only listen, but put God's word into practice.
- Never forget the good things that the Lord has done for me.
- keep the Lord's decrees and commands which are given to us today, so that all may go well with us and our children.
